Review: I've been underneath the weather for a while and naturally Gatorade is
part
of my fluid regimen. I picked up a bunch of "Limited Edition Cooler Orange"
at the 99 Cents Only store, home to all kinds of close out brands and
discontinued items. It says it's "orange + cherry" flavored but it tastes
like plain old orange to me, except much sweeter. Cooler Orange
commemorates the "now legendary Gatorade Dunk" when Harry Carson and Jim
Burt upended the Gatorade cooler onto Bill Parcells after Super Bowl XXI.
I'm not crazy about the flavor but I'm giving extra points because of the
informative reading material on the label. Did you know Parcells was so superstitious that he "insisted his linemen continue the dunking the next
season"?
I guess I shouldn't be surprised there's such a thing as a "Gatorade blog." This takes geekdom to new levels. I love how serious this guy is. |
